I travelled to Digital Arts Studio in downtown Manhattan to attend the first NYC event for MPSE. This event was run by Dave Barber, a chair member of the MPSE organization. Dave was assisted by two editors from Digital Arts, Josh and Dominick. Dave has been using RX for dialogue and post-production editing since it launched 10 years ago. He gave a 2-hour lecture and presentation on how he uses RX in his workflow. He demonstrated various editing techniques across projects from 4 different films he had to do all the dialogue editing on. Jonathan Wyner and Antoine Ibrahim were also in attendance with me from iZotope to help answer certain questions and participate/represent on behalf of iZotope.
