Important Policies for You and Me!
Photo Storage Policy
All final assets are securely stored in a Google Drive folder for a minimum of one (1) year from the date of the shoot. The cost of this cloud storage is included in your photography rate—there are no hidden fees.
In addition to cloud storage, all files are backed up indefinitely on external hard drives to ensure long-term preservation. If you would like your assets available in cloud storage beyond one year, a customized pricing plan can be arranged. You’ll receive advance notice before any cloud-stored files are scheduled for removal, and no additional storage fees will ever be charged without prior discussion and a signed agreement.
Travel & Transportation Policy
For shoots that require more than one (1) hour of driving time, an additional transportation charge may apply to account for time and travel expenses. This rate is determined on a per-shoot basis and will always be communicated clearly before booking.
Any applicable travel fees are included in your upfront quote—never added after the fact or billed without prior discussion and written agreement.
Budget Flexibility Policy
I believe great photography should be accessible, and I'm committed to working with clients to find a solution that fits both creative goals and budget. If the standard rates listed don't work for your circumstances, custom pricing and shoot details can be discussed and finalized in advance.
I’m especially happy to support students and young professionals, and I understand that even $50 can be a meaningful investment. Let’s connect and explore what’s possible—we’ll collaborate to design a shoot that works within your budget without compromising quality or care.
Cancellation & Retainer Policy
To secure your booking, a non-refundable retainer of 30% of the total shoot cost is required. This retainer reserves your time slot and covers preliminary planning.
In the event of a cancellation:
If the cancellation is due to a personal or family emergency, illness, or other extenuating circumstance, refund considerations may be made at my discretion.
If I must cancel for similar reasons, you will be offered the option of rescheduling or receiving a full refund of the retainer.
Whenever possible, I prefer to reschedule rather than cancel altogether—my goal is to ensure you get the shoot you planned for without losing your investment.
Equipment Failure & Refund Policy
In the unlikely event that all final images are deemed unrecoverable due to an electronic, manual, or technical failure of photographic equipment, a full refund of the shoot fee will be issued.
If only a portion of the final images is lost due to such failure, a partial refund will be provided. This refund will be prorated based on the estimated percentage of assets that could not be delivered.
Every effort will be made to prevent such issues through proper equipment maintenance, backups, and professional workflow standards.
Venue & Weather Interference Policy
If a scheduled shoot cannot proceed due to venue-related issues or weather interference beyond our control, the session will be rescheduled at no additional cost to the client. All prepaid items, including shoot fees, deposits, and any custom arrangements, will be fully honored for the rescheduled date.
My goal is to ensure that you receive the experience and final product you paid for—without any unexpected charges or compromises.
Sharing & Usage Rights
All delivered photos may be freely used for personal social media posts and website features—no additional licensing required.
For use on physical merchandise (e.g., apparel, packaging, commercial prints), please reach out to discuss appropriate licensing or buyout options.
Images taken during shoots may be shared by Delore Studio on its official website, social media accounts, and may also be submitted to online or print publications to promote the collaborative experience and showcase the art created.
